Branding for Nonprofits and Consultants

You are ready to showcase the values that make your organization unique and connect to your audience in a meaningful way.

You need an outside perspective to help refine your message and improve the visuals that represent it.

You do not need a full-time designer, but realize that your brand and marketing could use a professional touch as your organization hits a new stage of growth.

Most of all, you know an investment in your brand now will provide benefits in the years to come through increased engagement and revenue, client loyalty, and higher visibility.

The Luminea Creative Brand Clarity Audit

Discovery

Every project begins with a call to identify where you are struggling and what your goals are.

Strategy

I examine your internal and external documents, vision and strategy statements, website, and social channels to determine if you are speaking as one voice both in messaging and visuals.

Audit Report

Your report outlines messaging gaps or confusion, visual inconsistencies, and peer comparison. Walk away with suggestions for next steps.

Investment Cost

Eliminate confusion with consistent visuals and clear messaging. The cost of a Brand Clarity Audit ($995) can be applied toward a future branding project.

The brand audit itself was incredibly comprehensive and insightful. Jenni’s analysis was meticulous, covering every aspect of our brand’s presence, from our visual identity to our messaging and online presence. She presented her findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner, providing us with a roadmap for improvement that was both practical and inspiring. She didn’t just point out areas for improvement; she offered creative solutions and innovative ideas that have already made a significant impact on our brand’s effectiveness.

“I am thrilled with our new look and the renewed energy it helps give to the whole organization.

Jenni’s work on reimagining the visual identity for our agency was invaluable. And then to top it off, she developed the brand standards book to guide us in usage. It is a triumph!”

–Judy Orr, Executive Director, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Nashville

“Working with Jenni on the True North Philanthropy brand felt deeply collaborative from the start.

She took the time to really understand not just what we do, but the why behind our work, and she translated that into a visual identity that feels honest and forward-thinking. She brought clarity to ideas that had been living in my head for months. The result isn’t just a logo and a new website — it’s a brand that feels like the truest expression of this next chapter. 10/10 experience!!!

 My Philosophy

Hi, I’m Jenni

As someone who has worked in the nonprofit space for over 20 years, I know how it feels to work with conflicting priorities and limited budgets. I believe in a collaborative design process, one where we partner together to uncover solutions that connect with your audience. I’m invested in solving problems with you, not merely executing a design brief. Are you ready to get started?

FAQs

Interested in working together but have questions?

How long does the branding process take?

My Brand Intensive takes only two weeks and is ideal for new organizations that need a jumpstart. One-on-one brand strategy plus identity design can take 4-12 weeks depending on schedule, your collateral needs, and how quickly you respond with feedback.

How soon can we start?

I would love to start ASAP, however my availability varies throughout the year and is dependent on the scope of your project. I recommend reaching out at least two months in advance of your ideal launch date as I have limited slots available per month.

Do you design websites?

I design Squarespace sites for nonprofit consultants. For nonprofits, I offer front-end design (the visual look and feel of a website), but leave coding to professionals (or work with your in-house developer).

What about copywriting, photography, videography, and illustration?

I have a network of nonprofit collaborators who share my values and work with clients just like you. If you need a photographer, copywriter, videographer, or web developer, I can refer you to someone I trust.

What if I only want a logo?

For many years, I focused solely on logo design, but have come to realize it is like frosting a cardboard cake. It looks pretty, but has no substance. Without a values framework, your communications will fall flat with your ideal audience. Learn more here.

What is a Brand Strategy Session?

Think of our Strategy session as a deep and thoughtful conversation with you and your top stakeholders. I will offer an outside perspective and ask questions based on the information you provide in the Brand Questionnaire.

What if I am confident in the brand strategy I have?

If you have already done the work on your brand values, let’s have a conversation to see where you are at. It may be possible to move forward to the design phase.

Do you offer services at a lower cost?

Yes! I offer two-week Brand Intensives and VIP Design Days. Both are more limited in scope and perfect for those with limited budgets or tight timelines.
